Gearboxes wear over time, and signs of this can be spotted during your routine service. While we don’t cover repairs related to age and usage, we do cover bigger unexpected problems.

Most cars today have pretty reliable fuel systems. Problems here tend to come from the wrong fuel being put in the car.

Electrics

Unlike many warranties, cinchCare covers repairs to all electrical faults. Things like bulbs, fuses and wires aren’t covered since these items are meant to perish, and are affordable to replace.

General exclusions

Not all car parts are covered for repair under warranty. As with most plans on the market, we exclude repairs to parts that have reached the end of their working life through age or mileage.

  • Water ingress, exhaust system, corrosion, seizure, pipes, hoses, unions, core plugs, bushes, decokes, foreign object damage, air bags, gaskets, seals, oil leaks, mountings, fixing and fastening devices, serviceable components, and noisy parts that otherwise work as normal.
